Da Montanha offers a serene retreat atop a hill overlooking a picturesque reservoir in a stunning setting that's worth every penny. The room we stayed in was spacious and tidy, though a bit dated. The property itself is well-maintained, with a lovely swimming pool perfect for laps and relaxation. While the spa isn't top-tier, it still adds to the overall charm of the place.The staff were friendly and accommodating, although some may benefit from additional training. We opted for a more budget-friendly room, so the view wasn't spectacular, but that was expected. The standout moment was the sommelier at the restaurant, who impressed us with his expertise and cost-conscious wine recommendation swap.In terms of amenities, Da Montanha offers a solid selection including a fitness centre and a seasonal outdoor pool. The value proposition here lies in the tranquillity of the location and the subtle luxury that doesn't break the bank. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway without compromising on comfort, Da Montanha is a wise choice.
